1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Routerunner, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.

2. Eligibility and Account Access

You must be legally able to use the service under applicable law. Routerunner may offer Sign in with Apple and guest access. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or on your device.

3. The Service

Routerunner helps you create, follow, save, and review running routes. The service may include route generation, active run guidance, in-app history, custom route planning, Apple Health integrations, Apple Watch workout functionality, and subscription-gated features.

4. Safety and Fitness Disclaimer

Routerunner is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Any route, pace estimate, direction cue, or workout metric is provided for informational purposes only. You are responsible for evaluating your surroundings, traffic, weather, trail conditions, road closures, personal health, and overall safety at all times.

If any route direction appears unsafe or incorrect in real-world conditions, your judgment and safety must take priority over the app.

5. Subscriptions and Paid Features

Routerunner may offer paid subscriptions, including Routerunner Plus, through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, free trial handling, and account management are governed by Apple’s payment rules in addition to these Terms.

Unless canceled before renewal, subscriptions may renew automatically through your Apple account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
• Interfere with app security, subscriptions, authentication, or service reliability.
• Copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the app beyond what applicable law allows.
• Use the app to create harmful, deceptive, or abusive experiences for others.

7. Apple Platform Features

Some Routerunner features depend on Apple services or Apple frameworks, including Maps, Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchases, HealthKit, and WatchConnectivity. Those features may change, fail, or become unavailable based on Apple platform behavior, device compatibility, permissions, region, or service limits.

8. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Routerunner at any time, including route-generation behavior, watch features, premium features, and legal or pricing terms, subject to applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

Routerunner is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfectly accurate route generation, perfect map data, continuous watch connectivity, or error-free workout tracking.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Routerunner and New Plot Software will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, physical injury, or route-related incidents arising from use of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Routerunner if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, misused the service, or created risk to the service, users, or platform integrity.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the service operator is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are preparing for launch, you should customize this section with your preferred governing-law and venue language.
